Synopsis:
You can't read, can't write, but you heal fast, even for a witch.
You get sick if you stay indoors after dark.
You hate White Witches but love Annalise, who is one.
You've been kept in a cage since you were fourteen.
All you've got to do is escape and find Mercury, the Black Witch who eats boys. And do that before your seventeenth birthday.
This story has a really fast paced and interesting plot, it starts in the middle of the story and then goes to the beginning of it all and then it goes on. The story was really great, really interesting as you discover secrets and lies, a really great and fun story. It is fast and you wont be bored by even one bit of it. there is always something interesting going on.
Also the magic concept of this book and how everything works is so fascinating my mind was blown of how it all works. I really love magic stuff and i can tell you this book does it great.
I couldn't stop reading this book and ended up finishing it at 3 am.
The writing style is what i liked most, it is basically told as first person so we follow our Main Character Nathan, but sometimes he tells the story as if he is talking to himself, which i really enjoyed.
I really enjoyed our main character Nathan but not as much as i would've liked. Some things he does i didn't like as much but given the circumstances, he had no other choice but i still didn't feel like it was okay. Still through everything he goes through i was rooting from him and had a lot of empathy for him.
Gran, oh Gran the feels, i really loved his Grandmother because she was always looking after Nathan and she was just great.
I had the same vibe about the Father-Son relationship in this book of Nathan and his father as i had of Clary and her dad in The Mortal Instruments. same vibe and i do not like those parents at all.
For those who have read the book, i was shipping a relationship so hard and then Rose mentioned it and i could not stop laughing.
I would recommend this book to any Young Adult out there, and specially if you like Magic, Action and a fast paced book.
I gave this book ★★★★ on Goodreads
I really enjoyed this book too :) loved the writing the most, which made it stand out like no other! Great review
